Paper Recycling
Where possible, we reuse excess paper for make-ready and set-up procedures, as opposed to wasting fresh paper. All unavoidable waste paper is compacted and collected by a recycling facility we have hand-picked because of a strong reputation for environmental responsibility.

Film and Metal Plates
All of Skylar’s film and metal plates are collected and recycled on a bi-weekly basis by a company certified by the Ministry of Environment for silver recovery and metal recycling.

Waste ink, solvents and chemicals
All of our waste inks, are collected and recycled on a bi-weekly basis by a company certified by the Ministry of Environment for silver recovery and metal recycling. The used ink cans and solvent/chemical containers are collected and returned to the manufacturer for recycling.

Printer Uniforms and Rags
Our uniforms and rags are cleaned and re-used on a weekly basis by a leader in facility services that we again hand-picked because of a strong reputation for environmental responsibility. This “uniform/rag rental” program helps to reduce the amount of paper waste ending up in landfills, while at the same time reduces environmental impact by eliminating environmentally-harmful chemicals that may wind up on clothes or the rags.

Furthermore, we are audited on a regular basis by an independent consultant who not only ensures our compliance with all regulations, but works with us to institute innovative directives that allow us to work more efficiently not only in an operational sense, but environmentally as well.
