On-press Fast Ink Replacement (OFIR)
The newly developed OFIR system is a revolutionary concept that allows the press operator to change ink while printing. For the operator, having this feature means, being able to increase usability of the press, since there is no downtime while changing ink colors.
Uncoated offset media support
Process parameter (2nd transfer pressure) is optimized to specific substrate characteristics without reducing productivity. The SPP extends media range to include low cost widely available standard offset uncoated media.
New dot placement technology
Laser head intensity modulation enables higher addressability, single pixel control and dot gain compensation. This results in enhanced screen set (smoother half tones), single dot calibration (enhanced color consistency) and1200 dpi for superior line work printing.
